My son was racing in the 11 to 13 novice race (older and more aggressive kids) when he was knocked off his sled on the largest mogul on the track.There he was on hands and knees, as ten sleds behind him came barrelling over the top, blind to what lay on the other side.The first sled missed him but the second struck him directly in the mid back section knocking him face first into the snow and then proceeding to drag him for 20 or so feet.
Please use this to tell everybody who is waiting or who says it’s too much money not to wait. Please you guys, listen to me. My son and I both should have been in wheelchairs! You just don’t want to imagine that kind of tragedy for any money. If we all gave everything we had we could buy David or Danny back!
At the E.R, we were asked three questions. First, did you lose consciousness ? Second, were you wearing a helmet, and third were you wearing a Leatt brace?
My 9 year old son was involved in a horrible crash on December 31, 2008 while training for the upcoming motocross season. The throttle on his “new to him on Christmas morning” 2007 RM85 stuck wide open after landing from a large jump and he raced straight over a 5 to 6 foot berm that catapulted him and his bike into the air wildly out of control. It was surreal to watch as it all happened so fast.
I am not writing this looking for anything, other than please share this letter with your people and let them know that YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. I have enclosed pictures of the leatt brace, Helmet and goggles he was wearing when this accident occurred, the picture of the goggles shows the force of the impact when the visor broke and went into the goggles, and punctured but did not penetrate through and then was forced up and that is what caused the puncture to his brow area.

" ... the first thing i can really remember is a friend telling me that I was lucky that my "dad put out the cash for that thing." "That Thing" refering to my GPX Club Brace which apparently, was the reason that I wasnt paralyzed or dead, was a borderline decision that my dad had to make. The cost was a killer for his wallet, but after my accident he said that he "would have spent a million dollars for it if he knew that it would end up doing its job so well in the future."
I went to the upper part of the track to find my son on his back surrounded by 3 other riders who all looked very concerned. Apparently, the tail of his bike came around after a bad launch from a jump and the bike came down sideways. This ejected him from the motorcycle at a great velocity and he landed on his head and left shoulder.
Go Kart flipped upside down, driver hit his helmet on the tar – was checked by doctors and cleared to race within minutes. Medical staff were amazed he walked away, without any pain or injuries.

I just want let you know how the Leatt-Brace™ saved my neck.
I was competing in the 2 nd Heat of the National VW Polo Cup series in Port Elizabeth. I was trying to make up lost ground, caused by an earlier incident when I ran wide through a fast sweep doing about 160km/h. I tried to correct it to miss the wall, but just did not have enough power to pull me out of it. I then clipped the tire wall at the bridge, was sent into the concrete wall and then bounced back across the track. I previously experienced an 80km/h impact, which resulted in serious neck pain. This impact was far greater and, with the Leatt-Brace™, I walked away with no pain at all.

Good Morning, First thing I would like to say is THANK YOU !!!! My son Gregory Lamey Jr was using one of your motocross braces this past weekend and went over the handle bars coming out of a whoop section. The bike cart wheeled behind him and landed directly on him. His only injury is a broken collar bone that is being surgically repaired on Friday, April 20th. Because of your brace, he is walking today !!!

My son, Cody, has your brace and tested it out on Feb 25th. He went over the bars going through a rhythm section and went head-on into the next jump. He said he could feel the force transferred to his chest. He is not even sore from the crash and the first thing he said when he got up was, "Hey, this neck brace really works". Thanks for a great product and for giving a parent the peace of mind in knowing that I am doing all I can for my son to prevent injuries.
